The Man Behind The Fox
Studio Experience
Samuel has had the opportunity to gain numerous hours of studio experience since beginning his studies at ACM Guildford. Initially under the watchfull eye of industry legend John Gallen and later mentored by the equally tallented Matthew Twaites. It was not long before engineering and producing his own sessions on the SSL Duality console in the campus studio became second nature. He is often found as the right hand man to ACM Alumnus Jonathan Moore and has many hours hands on experience as an assistant engineer to many of Moore's recording sessions both on campus and on location in other studios. Samuel Fox holds high aspirations of working as a recording and mix engineer, having already made long term plans to one day hold co-ownership of a studio with J. Moore.

Video Game Sound Design
Along with an immense passion for video game sound tracks, an equally deep enthusiasm for video game sound design developed. Having both created and produced a sound library and written a dissertation on the topic, Samuel Fox is truly ennamoured with the field and looking to expand his skillset further.
Live Sound Engineering and Stage Management
As live sound engineer, technical operations manager and stage manager for ULTIMATE ARTISTS, a 360 degree artist development programme, Samuel Fox has a great deal of experience in the aforementioned sectors and as a result has attained a high level of problem solving skill and technical ability both in and out of a studio environment.
Mixing and Mastering
As a passion of Samuel Fox's, mixing and mastering is a sanctuary more than a task. More than once has it caused him to loose track of reality and forget to eat, drink or sustain himself for a whole day! Always eager to learn new techniques and methods and continuously build upon the strong foundations of his mixing and mastering knowledge gained over the years.
Musicianship, Songwriting and Composition
Samuel is a talented composer, vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He possesses a particularly keen ear in combination with great attention to detail. This enables the rapid composition of multi-part harmonies and counter melodies, as well as the efficiency in recording sessions that comes with being very particular about tuning! Academic Achievement
Having previously attained a GCSE and A level in music, and a diploma in vocal performance,Samuel Fox has recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in Contemporary Music Production. Having achieved high grades (70% +) across the board including a dissertation researching the effects of computer game audio on player success and enjoyment, it is fair to say that he has a hunger to expand his musical eductation.
